Things That Make Me Smile No. 232: Street Art in Progress

My NaNo progress has not been awesome. I’ve yet to click with the project, or cave and switch to a new one, though I’m pretty sure current events, not the story, are the cause. As such, there is little to say about it. Instead, may you be inspired by many stunning visual arts into creativity of your own.

I’ve shared street art before because I find the creativity and ability to transform a 2D space into the mirage of a 3D vision wonderful. This video, however, not only shows you the end product but takes you through the creation. How these artworks come to be is fascinating, and at times, scary.

Here are my current stats. As you can see, I’m a wee bit in the hole.

I know you! You leave me in the dust every time! Even so times do make it hard to let the juices flow. Since I know most of my characters and I’m incorporating the pandemic it is a way the vomit the worries into the plot.

    Love the artwork video!

    • You do realize I didn’t win for the first time since starting 2 years ago? So not every time. But I had a really good day today and figured out what was stalling me, so there’s a chance I’ll swing it like I did last year with my horrible Frankenstein creation…that I’m using again this year. Someday, I’m going to have to split it into its component parts :).

      Glad you liked the video.

I have not won on occasion during the NaNo time but I pick a month and set the goal any old time now so rebelling is fun. Frankenstein. I can’t wait to see what that’s about! 😀

    • You misunderstand me. Frankenstein=randomly stitched together. I’m poking at several novel projects, some non-fiction that might never see the light of day, and some non-fiction that never will, at least in this form. But different pieces will, I hope, prove interesting to folks.

As to NaNo, I could gauge my state by how easily I completed it. 2 years ago was a warning, and I haven’t figured out how to get back to before then yet. I’m winning again, but only by going sideways instead of forward. Not giving up though. I plan to figure it out :).

OH! So many puns went through my head I was in stitches. Glad you are caught up. I hate the struggle of trying to catching up. But like I knew. You are ahead for sure. 😊👍
