I have a long-standing tradition (going back to 2003) of devoting May to short story writing. It’s both because of the Story a Day challenge and so I can focus on novels pretty much all of the rest of the year. I had planned–like a crazy, insane, rabbit–to slow down on Molly rather than stopping entirely, but at least so far that just isn’t happening. I’ve dropped pretty much everything else.

So, if you need a distraction, come over to my LJ where I’m talking about Story a Day and what each story teaches me. Sometimes the lessons come as reminders, and sometimes working so randomly because of the prompts wakes me up to things that are useful to know.
