I had planned to write a book review for today, but the hours are declining and I’m absorbed in the Muse Online Writers Conference where I am both taking classes and giving one while also the tech support person.
That said, I don’t want to leave you hanging for something to read, and I have a fun recommendation to give. Daily Science Fiction is a new online magazine that offers, oddly enough, a story every single day through an email list. You can also read some of their stories online. I am subscribed to the email list, and while I haven’t been able to read every story that’s come into my inbox, I’ve read enough to appreciate their editorial decisions.
One that stood out was The Man Who Said Good Morning by Ralph Gamelli. This story is a fun read that looks at what happens when the ordinary (to us) becomes extraordinary. Sadly, it does not appear to be on the website so you cannot share my enjoyment, but I’m sure you’ll find another that’s worth checking out. Actually, bumping this up from the comments, it is there: http://dailysciencefiction.com/story/the-man-who-said-good-morning. However, you can still check out the other stories as well :).
