If you ever had siblings, no matter how much you love them, you might understand what led Georgiana Ferrier, a farmer’s daughter, to keep her friendship with Frederick Hathwell, heir to the Brookway Barony, a secret for eight long years. She’d never had anything else that was all her own. Freddie had his own reasons built out of being told to maintain his station in life despite his longing to play with the farm boys. However, when friendship blossoms into love, they face a difficult challenge in revealing the truth to their families so they can marry. Add in how they are barely on the cusp of maturity among other struggles, and you find yourself tossed into An Innocent Secret where the best intentions and most deliberate of planning can all go awry, threatening family and love alike.
An Innocent Secret, the third in the Uncommon Lords and Ladies series, is now available in eBook at all the usual places with a print version in the works that should release before the end of the month. As with the other titles in this sweet Regency romance series, An Innocent Secret is a clean read appropriate for romance lovers of all ages.

Georgie has been the most demanding of my heroines so far, though not the first to know her mind at a young age. She and Freddie took me on a twisty, but enjoyable road, especially as their story overlaps with A Country Masquerade and the seeds of it were already sown in that title though carefully disguised. I hope you find them as delightful as I did in recording their tale for your pleasure. I can’t wait to hear what you think of this story.
