My short story Forged won third place in the 9th Annual SFReader Short Story Contest (2010). I’ve entered for years, but this time I finally chose a story that hit their sweet spot. It’s not posted yet, but this is a short story that was originally an assignment for a Forward Motion Back to School class on swordsmithing, though it’s been through a ton of revisions since then.
