Musicians (Interesting People)

I had a hard time classifying this post even though I give myself two categories. Here is a musician who rescues cats off the street and then shares video clips of some lovely piano playing with the cats as active participants. It’s adorable. My only frustration is that the clips leave you hanging because the music hasn’t finished yet. Definitely something to soothe the stressful heart.

Discoveries (Archeology)

A 3D-imaging scanner has allowed scientists to determine a 500-year-old artifact found in 2014 is, in fact, the earliest known astrolabe.

Book Reviews (Marketing)

I have not vetted these lists myself, but if you’re looking for book reviewers to approach, here’s a list split by genre that will point you towards some possibilities. Remember to check out each site thoroughly and approach the blogger only once you’ve determined it’s a good match.

Millennials (Economics)

There’s been a strong thread of blaming Millennials for destroying the economy by not spending. This article looks at why, and it’s a very different picture than often bandied about.

Sculpture (Art)

Amazing animal sculptures with surreal elements. A feast for the eyes, especially this one I point to separately for my father: http://www.ellenjewettsculpture.com/portfolio-the-alchemy
