Felting (Art)
I was first introduced to felting when my son had a felting assignment in art class. It’s fascinating as a process, but this artist takes it to another level, turning wool into lifelike portraits of favorite pets.

The “global gridlock” quote in the piece on driverless cars reminds me rather of the prediction (made in 1894) that NYC (and London, for that matter) would be feet deep in horse manure by 1930. Yeah, if we treat driverless cars just like the ones we have now, it will only add to the disaster – but it’s very unlikely that we will.
You have such faith in our logical minds. The trouble will be highest in the transition years, with people treating them the same and less once those who grew up with driverless cars are the main decision makers. And while smog does not have the same physical presence as horse manure, that did kind of happen in some cities, which is why there’s a push for low emission cars.
