Pets (Life)

Army Culture (Sociology)

This simple, no holding back speech by Australia’s Chief of Army David Morrison should be a must watch for anyone in a position of power. What he says should be obvious. It’s not. Whether talking about SFWA or gamers, or politicians, or military forces, the lack of this simple message is obvious. That this man, who is neither a young radical nor a woman, can get it so completely should send a message to those who dismiss or otherwise fail to recognize that equality and respect go hand in hand.

Photographs (Zoology)

This is a site listing images available for use under a creative commons license that has a bunch of good wildlife pictures. I discovered it because I was looking for a canary for a canary post. A picture is a good way to liven up a text blog post.
