Tetris (Gaming)

I have the dubious honor of having “broken” the Tetris variant programmed into my university computer system. When I contacted the programmer about the bug, he said he hadn’t programmed it to go any higher than that because he didn’t think anyone would ever make it (you could save and continue an existing game). Therefore, this article caught my eye. I have experienced the Tetris Effect many times (and with many games), but now I’m wondering if I should pick up Tetris again. Read it to find out why :).

Wow. I played Tetris when I was younger and I was one of those who could close my eyes and still see the pieces falling down into place. I loved that game! Not sure if it helped my cognition or not, but just the escape alone was worth the time. 🙂 Thank you for bringing back some happy memories!

Yr welcome. Always happy to meet a fellow Tetris addict. My mom still plays, but my disks were for a very early Windows (or maybe DOS) and Win 10 laughed at me when I tried to install them after reading the article.
