Dogs (History)
Dogs have been helpers to humans for longer than recorded history, but I never would have thought they had a role in the kitchen until this:

Gender (Science)
The genetics and trends in genders is much less clear than generally believed. This article sheds some light on the “options” nature provides for survival.

Interactions (Life)
A blunt, not very PC article about the underlying social expectations with interactions and how they can get you in trouble. While I don’t agree with it 100%, there is definitely some truth to this position and awareness can make for a chance at resolving the conflict rather than being unaware there is one.

I don’t agree with all the writing resolutions either (number 8 fails for me), but it’s worth looking at. 🙂
Yeah, well, that’s the way with almost everything. Take what works for you, and leave the rest :).
I agree with most of the writing resolutions. I’ve been focusing too much on promoting and have been a bit unfocused on my writing so #11 really hit home.
I also learned something new! I didn’t know about the turnspit dogs. Thank you Margaret! 😀
Glad you found something interesting. I try to post the ones that strike a chord because I figure they might do the same for someone else.
The article on interactions wa excellent. The last paragraph “So Keep in Mind …” exactly describes my relationship with my first husband. I’m trying to decide whether to copy it to Facebook knowing we share friends.
Eh, just don’t say anything specific. If they see it, then they see it. If they don’t, you haven’t rubbed their face in it :).
